No complaints, looks good
Just to share my experience: this was exactly what was advertised. The paintjob looks great and the parts were all good. I had to take apart my old tailgate and use the parts as this just the shell. When it was all done, I had what looked like a brand new tailgate. I also bought a new cover strip for the top of the tailgate as the old one was beat up. That was about $50 or so.

Paint job was not done well.
Don't know what I expected for the price. But the paint job is not up to par. Bubbles in paint in several places, and the paint scratches off extremely easy. Strait to the point the paint job sucks. One a good note the tail gate itself is good quality and fits well. That's the only good part. I should have just gone with the unpainted tailgate and done the paint job myself. I have no history in painting vehicles and could still do a better job then the one done on my tailgate. Bottom line I would not recommend this painted tailgate. You're better of just leaving it unpainted. Don't know what I expected for the price. But the paint job is not up to par. This tailgate is a very good replacement and looks and feels just like the original. It is a very good metal quality and quite comparable to the OEM tailgate. It is the perfect fit for my Toyota truck and came in perfect condition ready for painting after installation.
