I've been searching for a good flashlight for daily use and my camping adventures. I've considered many brands and tried several at a local camping store trying to find a well-balanced one in terms of performance and battery life. My conclusion? Don't even bother to look for an alternative! The dual-mode operation capability is a very good feature, the low-lumen setting is usually more than enough for typical use plus you get long battery life. I have used it more than 30-35 hours and it's still going. High setting is REALLY bright, it has a nice throw illuminating just how you would naturally want. You can rely on it in many different environments whether it be camping, hiking or professional/tactical use, also for self-defense. Drop it, smash it, soak it in water, it just won't stop. There are more powerful flashlights and better specs out there but what I find is that this has a good balance between a low-cost but a crap flashlight and an expensive but very professional one, weighing slightly more on the pro side. It's not cheap but it deserves the price when you consider it will probably live longer than yourself.Read full review
As an HVACR tech I have used this light for over four years (older 200 lumen model) many times a day, love it, Used it in the rain, 110*+ heat, attics, dirt, grease you name it. The only down side to this light vs. a cheap high output semi reliable chinese light is that when you get home from a job 100 miles away and realize you left it on the roof you really wish it was that cheap chinese junk light sitting on that roof that you will not be driving four too five hours round trip to retrieve. Not that I've ever done that or that, that's why I'm here looking for another one or anything.

I already own a G2X pro which is single output 320 lumens. I bought the 6PX dual output for tasks and other uses aside from a “fighting” handheld flashlight. I use the Thyrm™️ Switchback on my single output G2X and the Raven Concealment Clip with rubber O-ring for the 6PX. Both are great products. I have to have a clip on these lights Overall 320 lumens is enough to blind a person and to illuminate a whole area. And these lights are bombproof

As usual Surefire knocked this one out of the park. This light is durable, bright when you need it, and also easy on batteries when you don’t need blinding light. Way to go Surefire!!

Have not had a lot of time to use the light. The reason I purchased the flashlight is because of the feature of being able to utilize the low beam first and the high beam second. This better suits my needs.
