They say the lights provide good illumination for inexpensive lights, and they make a great reverse light for their truck. They also say they produce a good beam that can shine for at least 100 feet. Customers also say the light pattern is good and wide enough to mount just about anywhere. However, some customers recommend high wattage bulbs as a mandatory upgrade.

Great value for the money
Nice color and brightness. Takes a little bracket fabricating talent to fit factory openings on my 2000 Mazda miata nb. Had to reverse the attached plastic mounting plate. Did not use included wiring or switch, simply spliced into oem harness. Warning, these are driving lights, not fogs and therefore do not have a cutoff. They project a round beam. Glare is minimal if you aim them right.

I was a little skeptical at first because of the price but I am very pleased at the quality of the light, wiring, and the brackets. I did not use the switch but I did connect the lights through a relay and then attached them to my reverse lights because I want them to come on when I put the truck in reverse. These lights are the perfect match. I also have LEDs in my factory back up lamps and these lights compliment them very well. I have no trouble at all backing with a trailer now. Plus an added bonus is that you can replace the bulbs with higher-end bulbs (KC, PIAA, etc...) once these blow out but from the way these are made, I believe I won't need to replace the bulbs for quite a while. Thanks Blazer and Amazon for a great product at an unbelievable price.

This kit is not for every motorist . But if you are a better than average backyard mechanic , you can make this cheap kit a dependable , effective lighting accessory . To make this a five star kit , quality switch works and high wattage bulbs are mandatory upgrades. . But these upgrades come at a price (LOL). Durable , reliable switchworks from Napa auto , a REAL fuse holder , and the pizza of resistance !! ?? 100w bulbs from Hella . After finding a light pollution free area (not too hard in rural GA ) and aiming the lights to take full advantage of the substantial wide light output . I find it quite easy to drive on very dark roads on these lights alone . Total upgrades to now custom driving lamp system $ 12/4/14( respectively) , more than double the cost of the original kit . BUT for a total of thirty buks you now have a true driving light system matching or surpassing the performance of systems costing substantially more than this system plus upgrades . I also give this system high marks for mindlessly simple installation .Of course you could buy em' stick on your car , and they will work fine too , and a lot of folks will be just fine (until the flimsy switch in the kit burns out , breaks , or fuses) . Bottom line , buy this kit if you don't mind a little tinkering to make it a five star dependable lighting accessory .

Bought these just for the housings. Can't speak for the wiring. It was a bit thin. I just threw it in my spare wire drawer.

The housings are solid. Glass lens, metal body. Will probably rust like most of these cheapy fogs. They clear an HID bulb and do pretty well with glare. They compliment my Morimoto MiniH1 retrofit without overpowering them and killing the cutoff from the headlights. I run them every morning in the fog with the 3000k bulbs they cut the fog really well. Better than any halogen setup I've had.

I'm coming from 100w headlight and 100w fog. The projector retrofit and these fogs with drop in HID far surpass my beefy high current halogens.

I installed these on my tractor as rear implement lights so I could use my boom pole at night. They light up a really wide area with a concentrated spot in a tiny area. The wide beam is bright enough to light up the entire area behind my tractor up to 30 feet in all directions. The are nicely waterproofed and the hinges allow easy aiming, though the wide beam doesn't really need any aiming. The included switch is nasty, as they all are with light sets nowadays. I recommend buying a decent quality switch to use, but the included one works if looks aren't a priority.

Pros
- Bright enough for work light use
- Plenty of wiring
- In-line fuse included
- Glass lenses, not plastic
- Wide range of adjustment
- Comes with two sets of ground wires (for frame or negative lead ground)
- Super low price compared to others

Cons
- Not bright enough for driving light use (only reaches about 50 feet max)
- Have way too much wide beam light for fog light use (would cause a white out in fog)
- Switch is big, tacky and illuminated

For a tractor or slow moving vehicle these lights are money well spent. For cars, look elsewhere. The beam is just not meant for useful car use. As a work light these are perfect.

This is an excellent kit considering the $12 and some change I paid. The included wiring is nice and provides a good length of wire (I didn't measure before install, so I don't know exact length. Went on a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Reg Cab 6ft bed as extra backup lights). If you are mounting to a plastic bumper on a newer car and a good ground is a bit away, you might have to splice some extra wire in, but other than that included wires will probably be long enough. The light casings seem of decent quality and the brackets are bendable but strong enough for these lights. I do not know if I would trust hanging these by the included tape unless they are going on top of your bumper instead of the bottom, but mounting screws are also included. The switch is very bright at night, not a big deal for me since I only turn these one when I back up, but if you are using them as front driving lights you will probably want to put some tape over the front of the switch.

I bought this kit to install under my back bumper for light when hooking up to a trailer and backing up at night. Easy install, great value and the lights put out a fair amount of light for their size.

I did have to add a few feet of wire to run the power to the switch and from the lights through the firewall. That is to be expected when mounting them in the back of a truck when they are meant for the front.

The only complaint I have is that the switch does not light up like it is supposed to.
