There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
The total shrink wrap packaging was a total pain. I had to use a knife to get it off and then it got hung up on both springs. What is wrong with a simple box?
Also, my intital impression is that the sliding surfaces were very rough. They had a small amount of lubricant, but it didn't help very much. So I did the best I could to sand them off with a small piece of sand paper and that helped. I have a very difficult to access oil filter, one that I can see and not reach, or reach and not see. So I need it to adjust as smoothly as possible.
Another thing that would help to fix the smoothness is if they used shoulder bolts or bolts with nylon washer instead of rivets to hold it together. That would make it easier to take apart and sand all the contact surfaces.
I will update this review after I use it.
