    Metal nozzle with good spray and adjustability
    Used this washer nozzle kit when I replaced the factory hood on my 06 Wrangler and did not want to cut holes in the new fiberglass, high line hood for washer nozzles . I drilled a hole in the center of the cowl for one nozzle. The metal nozzle in the housing is adjustable so was able to get it to spray well on about 60% of the width of the windshield. Heightwise it covers top to bottom even when moving. It cannot reach the far sides but the wipers are able to spread the fluid over to the sides well enough. The kit has gaskets for under the nozzles to protect the paint. The nuts are plastic so am concerned over time it might get brittle but since I only used 1 and there are two in the kit, I have a spare should anything happen. The housing is plastic but the nozzle inside it is metal (brass?) and overall this is good quality as you would expect from Dorman.

    Trivial to install for my 1995 Toyota Corolla, the spray is even and conical across both sides of the windshield. The only drawback is that the extension tubes they provide are FAR too stiff and extremely difficult to install, and even harder to remove. In the end, when I decided I didn't need an extension, I had to carve it off the new nozzle with a utility knife to avoid breaking the nozzle because I had been pulling and twisting it with so much force but still could not remove it. Bottom line, the tubing should not be that tight. The extending plastic mating units, however, work fine, and if you need to extend the tubing, I would recommend going to a hardware store and buying a piece that's reasonable. I give the product five stars because it sprays beautifully, but it probably deserves a four because it's something Dorman needs to address.

    Actually, the spray might be a little too wide. Took some adjusting to keep it from overshooting when parked. I ended up aiming both toward the center somewhat and that worked. They hit a little low around 70mph, but still work fine, and it is a fan spray after all. Use the tool provided to aim them, and be aware that the tabs on the tool have to be facing down to aim the nozzles all the way up. Otherwise the tabs hit the plastic and inhibit the nozzle's full range of motion. Might be why they dont aim high enough for some trucks, because mine could have shot straight over my car. Kinda tempting for tailgaters.

    Purchased this to replace the driver-side nozzle on a 2002 Subaru Forester. Installation was very straightforward, despite no included directions.

    As others have mentioned, initial spray was too low. Adjustment was simple using a small flathead screwdriver. (I didn’t realize that’s what the small metal bit in the kit was for.) However, spray pattern still only hits around mid-windshield.

    Additionally, the water does not all come out the nozzle, with probably 20% leaking out the nozzle base. This is not the junction of the hose at the back of the nozzle, it’s from around the rotating ball socket that allows directional adjustment. I swapped out the second nozzle, and same issue.

    Bottom line is I can now clean my windshield again, but also end up with washer fluid streaking across the hood.

    The kit came quick with Amazon Prime 2-day shipping. I ordered it yesterday at 3pm and it arrived before that time today. Amazing fast shipping, especially for this time of year.

    Anyway, I bought these to replace my clogged/poorly aimed washer nozzles on my 1991 Subaru Legacy. They fit perfectly and the install was easy, and look very nice. I followed every precaution to make sure the fragile plastic wasn't damaged. I even replaced all of the washer lines with new ones, cleaned the check valves and flushed out the washer reservoir to get rid of any sediment. The whole setup went in without a hitch and looked darn near OEM.

    Fast forward to testing them and they fall flat on their face. At first, without any adjustment, the washer nozzles spray directly at the wiper blades at the base of the windshield. So I took the little adjustment tool that is included with the kit and gently (and I do mean gently) adjusted the nozzle upward towards the upper end of my windshield. Upon testing them, the washer nozzle just sprayed washer fluid all over the bottom of the windshield with no uniformity to speak of. No fan pattern at all. And the majority of the fluid just dumped out of the nozzle on to the hood like a garden hose. Useless. So I spent a few minutes trying to tinker with the nozzle and fine tune it. No matter what I did, there was no uniformity in the spray pattern (not really any spray "pattern" either). I pulled them off and threw them in the trash. Cleaned the OEM nozzles in hot soapy water and blew hot water through them to get them to spray uniformly again, then aimed them on the car with a needle in about 15 mins. They work like new now, and they are 23 years old.

    Don't even bother with this kit. Nothing made in China and sold for $11 is going to stand the test of 23 years in the weather. I don't even know why so many reviewers are giving satisfactory feedback for such a sub-par product. It is simply junk.

    Stick with OEM, you'll be disappointed otherwise. Don't know what I was thinking...live and learn.

    My car is an older Honda and had the old style nozzles the two hole spray instead of a fan. This replacement worked great. Super easy to install and the fan style spray works so much better. And for all the people saying this sprays the cleaner too low, the kit comes with a metal tool to adjust the level of the nozzle. All you have to do is adjust it to spray higher and you're good to go.

    So my only comment on this nozzle replacement kit is that the stream it produces on my SUV is different than what the OEM nozzles produce. And even though these Amazon replacements have a range of adjustment, it's not possible to replicate OEM. They get the job done though....
