Quite well made. Thick enough to not brake it easily. Of course it doens't have a metal core inside, so you need to control the applied force ;)

I bought these about a year and a half ago when I was doing some work on the audio system in my car. Since then I have probably used them on 4 or 5 separate total car instillations. At the time I paid $22 and honestly was a little wary of buying the product because it seemed a little too cheap. However, I have been pleasantly surprised.

The quality of the tools is quite good. They are thick and sturdy enough to endure some good wrenching while still being small enough to fit into the small crevices you need to get them in to use them properly.

I have damaged the tip of one or two of the thinnest ones, but has not affected the overall utility of the tool.
On a side note, be careful when using these, they can damage softer plastics, as I did once while removing a piece of door trim from my car.
They are very good for pulling larger pieces of trim away from the car; however they are not the best at prying out the fasteners. Not necessarily the fault of the tool, but simply the nature of the fasteners I have encountered.

I have yet to meet a section of the cars I have worked on that this tool could not remove. This includes door panels and trim, dashboards, center consoles, trunk pieces, and the annoying trim that runs along the carpet on the floor of vehicles.

I certainly got my $22 worth of use out of these tools and would quickly buy them again.

I bought these tools to remove the stereo in my 2005 Corolla which included pulling half of the center console. I watched a YouTube video showing how to take the radio out and the guy used similar tools. Using this set made the job very easy. I was adding an aux jack to the stereo for plugging my XMp3i car kit into. I then used it to slip the XM antenna wire under the rear windshield seal and into the trunk. Then I used them to tuck the wires under the trim on the console between the seats to reach the car kit on the dashboard. I modified a beanbag style GPS dash mount for the XM and it works great. I couldn't have done all of this without damaging the trim all around the radio, center console, and rear window seals if not for these tools. I'm glad I bought them and won't be afraid to use them again on my car now that I know how well they work.

The tools are great, they arrived quickly and are as described. They worked great, I didn't break a single clip on a full install, 4 speakers, subs, & amp. I think I had every panel off. These did not leave a single scratch(I slipped pretty good with one and drug it across the paint), however since they are plastic there were a few places that a metal tool would have been perfered. They are plenty strong, but they just have a little too much flex when you are really torquing them over. For the price it is hard to complain. A metal set like this would cost around triple. I just tugged a little harder and they all came off, no big deal. I'd still buy them again, I just also want a metal set now to go with them.

Excellent product. They work as promised and are very useful to remove dash and trim pieces.

I think all users need to take into account that many of the dash pieces and plastic clips are simply not easy to remove, regardless of the tool. And sometimes, they may break anyways. I do think these tools are well designed with the correct purpose to get the "prying force" as close to the clip / retainer as possible. I have successfully removed many pieces of my Honda Accord dash (very tight fitting parts) using these tools.

Well worth the $$ for anybody who removes dash and trim pieces!

Car interiors are a pain in the butt. to work on simply because you can do more damage to the plastics than the issue you are trying to fix. The pins/retainers they have are expendable, so expect to replace those. Expect even with manuals for the vehicle for these fasteners not to be addressed in depth...enter the no scratch tools.

I had some folks take mirrors off my SUV, there was a rash of it in the neighborhood. I had to get the interior of the door off to get to the simple mirror replacement. These tools did the job just fine. Not a scratch on the plastics which are historically easily scratched. It was also cold which makes them more brittle. Happily, I was able to pry the door off with the help of these tools.

Key Note and why I give them three stars: The tools helped to get enough gap between the door and the door interior to by the interior door off. The tools are a bit too flexible, not stiff enough. They won’t pry off a door, at least not a 08 Hyundai Santa Fe, and pop the retainer pins. I had to muscle the door off using the door handle, got enough space between the door and the interior with the tools and then pryed the door off with my hands.

Since the tools don’t have the strength to pop the pins, but did not destroy the pastics, I give them three stars.

When I bought these I was looking to get an almost identical oem set in the way of quality and design, to do some repair work on my 2009 Honda Element dash console and door panel. These tools worked flawlessly within minutes I had the whole driver dash apart without any scratches and damage to my vital parts. This tool set is very well made and has not chipped apart on the ends or bent out of shape or even broken on me ever since I have been using them even when I put a lot of pressure and force on them to remove some tightly attached panels and or pieces. I definitely recommend this set to anyone who is looking for a effective oem like quailty set but don't want to spend a mint on one.

If you have ever tried to pull off automotive trim pieces using metal (such as a screwdriver) then you know the damage it can cause. Plus, a screwdriver or a credit card or some other tool is just not the right tool for the job. I used this kit to pull trim and replace stereos in both my cars today: BMW & Toyota. They came in handy for both. Without this kit, I don't think I could have got the BMW done without screwing something up. Super handy tools to have if you're type of person to mess around with the interior of your vehicle.
