    I installed these on my Air Lift Airbags. These will work with Airlift bags, you will need to get buy some bolts, see below. I was told by 4Wheel Parts I needed a 6" spacer due to my 6" lift, but that is incorrect. What is critical is that the distance between the upper and lower mounting brackets is to spec. You can find the spec for both ride rite and airlift bags on their websites. For my application, the airbag should ride at 6" with no additional load. After install, I was at 7.75 inches. This reduces the amount of travel your airbag will have before being over extended, and eventually rip the inserts from the airbag.

    As I said this kit works for airlift bags. However, you need to:

    1. replace 4 of the 3/8-16 hex head bolts that come with these spacers, with 3/8-24 hex head bolts. The airlift bags have fine threads, ride rite airbags have course threads.

    2. You will need to also replace the flat head 3/8-24 x 1/2" allen bolts that came with your airlift bag kit, with 3/8-16x1" flat allen head bolts. The inserts on the Firestone spacer are course thread. I needed to retain the flat head style bolt, because the bracket that rests on the jounce strike plate swivels, and in it's installed orientation, it sits over the top of one of these bolt heads.

    These bolts are not expensive.

    Also, the instructions say to orient the spacer with the sticker facing towards back of truck. There is no sticker on these. A Google search took me to the e trailer site, and the question was answered there: For the two inch spacer, there is not sticker and orientation of the spacer is not critical. Just make sure you use the correct mounting holes to attach the lower bracket to the airbag, so it is in correct orientation with the upper bracket.

    I was concerned about the amount of space available to get a wrench on the bolts that attach these spacers to the existing airbag. There is enough space. It's just tight. Don't forget to use threadlock. Install was easy.

    Another tip: don't forget to bleed your airbags (if already installed down to 5psi) I have the Firestone wireless F3 air system. then, use a 8mm wrench to press in on the press fit airline. It will pop off...non-violently, so you can finish your install.

    I added a leaf spring to my 2001 Toyota Tundra which raised my rear end roughly 1.5". The spacers are 2" but fit just fine. The air bags are deflated during installation and will easily compress to make up for the half inch. One concern I had however, after installation I had exactly 1/2" space between the tire and the inflated airbag. I was concerned about such a small space and spoke with Firestone tech support to ask about the airbag's range of movement during travel and they assured me that there is virtually no lateral movement and the 1/2" gap is sufficient. They were right because after hauling fully loaded, there's no indication of any contact with the tire.

    I rated 4 stars because the installation instructions very clearly stressed that the spacers must be installed with the Firestone sticker facing to the rear of the vehicle, but they arrived with no stickers attached. My installation was done during the weekend, when Firestone technical support is closed; so with my fingers crossed, I decided that the flat flange on both spacers must be the rear and I installed them that way. (remember my 1/2" gap? Was that due to mounting the spacers in the wrong direction???) So Monday morning, I called Firestone tech support to ask about the proper mounting direction and was told that it didn't matter that there was no sticker, because these can be oriented in any direction. So much for reading the instructions!

    The construction of them look well made, not sure if they are $100 worth or not. It looks like a 4” round piece of pipe cut to the height you want your spacer to be with some flat bar welded in there Top and bottom for mounting to the bracket and spring. But..... I Ordered these spacers at the same time that I ordered my bags, not knowing how high the bottom air bag brackets were. The bottom brackets made by Firestone for my 2017 f350 (Part 2600) are actually Adjustable from 4”- 6 1/2” Tall so you don’t need spacers even with a leveling lift kit installed. It would be nice if Firestone had the actual height of the air bag brackets..... ANYWHERE! Called tech support and they had no idea the height specs either.
