Alright, so the good thing is that unlike other single led setups, this one is actually bright enough to light up my dash.

The rest is all bad. First off, the wedge base on these bulbs is NOT thick enough for a t5 opening. To fix this, I had to add more solder to the contact points which is probably the reason for the second problem..

Second problem is that they randomly flash. This isn't like a flickering on and off when you hit bups, it is a solid flash that lasts from 3-7 seconds. It goes on, then turns off. I have no idea if this is because I had to add extra solder or if it's because they just don't work the way they are supposed to. (led's use less power than incandescants, so the power usage may be causing the problem as well.

I gave these 1 star because they required modification to fit and they don't light up constantly. They flash. Which is annoying, but kinda looks cool also. (They are behind my ac knobs so there are two and they flash at an uneven pace and look interesting.) For something like that, they work great, but for anything else (like behind your gauges), I'd stay away from these.
