UPDATE- The starter made it about six months of infrequent use before it died. There is no click, no nothing, intermittently, other times it will fire right up. Got a new starter ordered, and I'll pull this one down to see if I can find the problem. I doubt it's this kit though, my money is on the motor itself or the lead to it, more of the same quality parts as the 'rebuilders' used on the solenoid.
Nippondenso starters almost never die, it's just the contacts that wear out. If you have the ability to remove and replace the starter on your own, you can definitely repair your own starter and save a small fortune.
BAD STARTER TRIGGER WIRE. Fixed by adding a 12v RELAY.
Voltage at the trigger wire was around 12v, but I guess it was losing current, and not hot enough to activate the solenoid.
If you have a single click no crank, even before even trying the solenoid, I'd suggest try putting a 12v relay to activate the trigger. It uses the low voltage/current of the existing trigger wire, and sends a hotter signal to the starter trigger.
It goes right between the starter, and the original trigger wire, and you also need to connect it to ground and power (starter hot post). I used the type that has a fuse already built into it.
Even though I pretty much bought and fixed everything else in the system, I don't regret it too much, because it made me learn, and it gave me stuff to do.

Nope, random no-crank persists. But seems to take less number of tries.

Update - Jan 2019
Ok, even after changing to new solenoid+contacts, and trying combos with both oem starter, and napa reman, still would get random no crank, just the click.
Put in A32-0TB positive Battery Cable, still no crank.
Upgraded even more ground wires, still no crank.
Loosened the hot post nut a little so it has some play - some good starts, progress?!, but then back to no cranks.
Loosened the cold post, used both big C contacts, instead of one big and one small, scrubbed every contact point everywhere (grounds, etc) with sand paper - seemed to have fixed it. Now it starts hot the first time all the time, and I can almost feel the solenoid getting sucked to the contact points.
Maybe the problem was the solenoid was only hitting one contact, and not making a connection. I helped this by loosening the posts, so they would have slight angular play when the solenoid hits.
I might also suspect the contacts have that some kind of protective coating on them, and sanding it took it off. So even if the solenoid was touching, the coating was preventing full current. I would recommend coarse sanding everything anyway.
I've had this intermittent crank problem for a good 3+ years maybe! and I think I have finally fixed it.

Update - c. Spring 2016:
Finally discovered my no start/ no crank problem.
Positive battery cable between battery and fuse box was loosing about 0.5v. It caused my starter signal to get around 11.5v or less when hot, not enough to turn the starter motor. BAD POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE.
Changed the cable between battery and fuse box, and starts all the time (* I get an occasional click when really hot, but starts up at the second attempt)
I spent a lot fixing replacing other things further down the electronic line – battery, starter, alternator, solenoid, ignition module, ground wires, wire to starter, ignition switch, ignition switch wires. – did all that before I actually took the time to logically look at voltages with a volt meter.
My advice would be invest in a volt meter, and track down your electronic problem systematically and logically. Also on a lesser note, if you replace/fix something, and the problem still persists, don’t second guess the part – the problem has to be somewhere else.
===============================
Fits and works in 95 Accord 2.2L MT.
- Don’t tighten the outer nuts too tight or you might crack the black plastic washer retainer things.
-Vice grips and a hammer help for tapping the bolts out of/ into the contacts.
This wasn’t the root cause of my no start, no crank problem, but nice item, and fun install to do on your day off.
=======================
I had a no crank, no start problem. Solenoid would only click, and I would have to try upwards of 30 clicks before it would start. Occurred in super random conditions, and not temperature related.
In my case, it turned out to be a problem with the ignition wiring harness - something was spliced in from the previous owner, and it wasn’t getting good ground I think.
But until I replaced it, I tried pretty much everything else! - alternator, battery, solenoid, scrub terminals/ground points, upgrade grounds to 4ga wire, 4ga wire direct from battery to starter.
Even with all those fixes, the no crank problem persisted! Only a new ignition wire harness fixed it for good. The crappy thing is that I had the spare harness on the side the whole time, but ended up upgrading/replacing all the other stuff first.
Trying everything else just confirmed the final solution, but I guess the adage of trying the small/cheapest attempts first is a good idea, even though it might not seem it will fix it.
