Product Description

DC Sports was founded by Darrell and Darrick Contreras as a high-quality designer and manufacturer of performance products to address the developing Sport Compact Market. In 1987, American Honda commissioned DC Sports to develop a header for their SCCA prepped CRX's and the result cumulated was our first 4 into 1 header design. It was so well received that Honda requested headers for other applications. That system is the one that started it all (HHC5002). The Sport Compact Market was primarily based on popular Japanese small cars that were great cars to begin with, but also excellent platforms for various tuning modifications. Throughout the 1990s, DC Sports was synonymous with Honda and Acura performance and in the early 2000's started expanding into other sport compact platforms. DC Sports developed unique designs that performed better and therefore became the brand of choice for serious enthusiasts. DC Sports offers products for most popular sport compact vehicles. Our headers and intakes are available as CARB approved-50 states legal or race only- off road use versions. Headers are manufactured with polished T304SS stainless and/or T409SS ceramic coated for protection and finish. Intake kits come with a high flow open element filter complete with all necessary hardware for a hassle-free installation. Braces are manufactured with mild steel for strength and powder-coated for a quality durable finish and solid one-piece designs are used whenever possible to provide the maximum chassis rigidity. All parts are engineered, dyno tested for performance (where applicable), and come with an industry standard one year warranty. DC Sports has always been first and foremost about performance and value but there is also no other product that has the DC Sports look, feel, and quality. DC Sports has a comprehensive global distribution network and is headquartered in City of Industry, California. The DC Sports brand will always stand for the very best in performance.

    Can't go wrong. While these will FIT the 2nd gen twins (Chevy Colorado/GM Canyon), they WILL STICK OUT about 8 inches more so than the OEM Stock. Personally, I prefer the OEM look so I took my truck down to a local muffler shop and they trimmed the stock exchaust and then mounted/screwed it on and it's perfect. I do have a gibson SFT muffler so coupled with this tip, the sound is a very deep throaty without being over the top. This is the favorite combo.

    Let me just first start by telling you that when i bought this product I was not expecting it to change the way it sounded, I mainly bought it for the looks. So it arrived 4 days later, and it was a bit larger than I expected it to be. However, it fit perfectly on my Dodge Dakota. I downloaded and app that measures the sound differences (RTA auto was the name of the app). After I installed it which it was really easy to do I immediately measured how it sounded compared to how it sounded without the exhaust tip. I could automatically tell there was a difference, and not the bad type where it sounds like the car is farting, but it made it sound deeper and throatier. If anything I thought it would make it quieter..... Needtheless to say I love this product how it sounds, looks, and feels. I would recommend it to anyone. DC sport has never let me down!!!!!!!

    I bought this for my 1988 Honda Accord, and it makes it sound beastly!! a lot louder too! it looks really good and is very big, but not too big though. i would recommend to anyone. it also bolts on really solid, if someone tries to steal it for some reason like if i parked in a parking lot.. they would have a very very hard time getting that off. and i don't have to worry about it falling off for any reason ether. very good build quality, recommend for sure!!

    I just put this on my 2005 Toyota Tundra DC with the 4.7 V8. I had to cut off the flared end of the stock exhaust so that the tip does not extend too far out nor too low to the ground. Cutting is easy with a reciprocating saw with metal cutting blade. It took only 30 seconds to lob off the flared portion where it expands from 2.5 to 2.75 inches. Installation is then super easy and about the right length. The build quality is very good for the price. I would buy this again.
