Impressive resolution to tailgate theft.

This specific designed device fit properly to specifications of the vehicle. Well and simple engineering in resolve.
Just keep in mind as I found out quickly, road grime and soils are on back side of threads exposed to underside.
Simply use a rust/grime cleaner spray with extension spray nozzle to reach the threads from below.
Wear googles when spraying the threads as limited access for application, flashlight assists in locating from below.
If you don't lubricate threads, plan on breaking off of stripping out. It still was a tough removal after spraying but was accomplished. 100% great resolve deterrent in tailgate theft this vehicle.

Installed this on my 2012 F150. Easy to install, but be forewarned the screw that was installed in my truck had a large amount of loctite and was very difficult to remove. I used a longer breaker bar and was able to remove it with ease. I suppose this product will make it more difficult to remove the tailgate, but it is not burglar proof. Just a deterrent.

Metal radius needs to be longer could easily be bent and removed. Save yourself the $30 for this ridiculously overpriced product and shipping and just buy a stainless hose clamp then put JB Weld around the hose clamp bolt.
