Replaced a pair of 10 year old (90k miles) OME N140S shocks on a 2007 Tacoma. These new shocks were only $30 more than direct replacement. I've riden in other Tacomas with these same shocks, ride is great on & off road. Install is simple, just watch the YouTube video if you've never replaced shocks. Good delivery time but UPS needs to take a bit of care with customers packages.
There are less expensive options which may be a good choice for your $1000 vehicle. But for those of us who maintain our vehicles this is a quality product you will get your money's worth. My original shocks cost approximately $300 and lasted nearly 10 years. That's $30 per year a worthwhile investment especially for driving through the AZ deserts.
