Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

"Fantastic Medium Strength Threadlocker!..." Read more
I like all the Loctite products. This one, the "blue" variety, is medium strength, so you can break it loose with tools. Good for mounting scopes or bipods on high-power rifles. _______________________________
Revision -- this stuff really IS great, but there are a couple of things I should have noted:
-- first, blue Loctite is supposedly for larger screws or bolts (they say 1/4" up to 3/4"). For hardware less than 1/4" in diameter, they recommend purple Loctite. However, most often, when I've been attaching a scope or bipod or sling, I've had a bottle of the blue on hand, but no purple (and purple Loctite is not nearly as available as the blue, so I have to go a long way to get it). So, I've used the blue on hardware as small as 1/8", maybe even smaller, and so far it has worked well for me, and I haven't had any problems (...knock wood).
-- second, surface preparation is just as important as the adhesive you use. If you have gun oil, or dust, or finger-prints, or other contamination on either surface being bonded, the adhesion will fail. So before you use ANY adhesive, clean all hardware (nuts, bolts, screws, etc) AND any threaded holes in items you are gluing, anything into/onto which the bolt or nut will be threaded. If you have unlimited resources, you can buy the recommended Loctite primers. I'm dirt poor, and a can of acetone from the hardware store (applied with an old toothbrush and pipe-cleaners) works great for me, and cost maybe 10% what the Loctite stuff goes for. [ Note - Loctite Primer N 7649 actually **IS** acetone; nothing more. ]
Works really well, a little messy because I didn’t think which locktite to get. I use this for my folding knives. I recommend getting locktite stick. This will work perfectly fine too but it’s a liquid so prepare to have a bit of a mess.
Not some imitation but the real thing in the size bottle I prefer. Large enough that it lasts for a while. Not so large that it goes bad from age. If you don't know, this gives slight holding power but it easy to break loose. Want a tighter grip? Use the same product in red.
