This is one of those items that you can install and forget about. The quality is good and the drill bit you get with it works just fine.
It isn't better in low light situations than other cameras, it also does not have Infra-red LED's, it does however still work well at night.
It looks bigger than it really is but that is a good thing. when setting it up, get someone to help, one person looks at the screen, the other adjusts the angle of the lens, it has some up/down adjustment, not much, but is wide angle.
If you not sure where to mount it, place sticks on the ground, along the reverse path, mark where you feel is the closest you want to be to another car, or the sidewalk etc. Plug it in and play with height and tilt, then look on the screen until the camera is in the position that makes the most sense to you.
It is easy to install, just take it one step at a time, connect the power to a reverse light or if you want it on all the time (as a rear view mirror) then run a wire to a spare fuse.
I may get one to install on my boat, to better see when I am lying on my bunk.
Message me if you have a hard time, send me pics and I may be able to guide you.

I had an issue with video at first. If you are seeing a black screen in reverse you probably aren't getting sufficient power, in my case I had a bad ground. I tried to use the screw under the rear seat belt that holds the back subwoofer in but ended up using another screw behind the sub instead. Also, I flashed the 730n before installing this camera and wiring harness and everything still worked just fine so no need to flash while the camera is installed. It works great now, hoping it lasts a long time.
One complaint is there's no real indication of "up" on the camera for ease of installation. There *is* a dot on the cylinder body of the camera; I test-fit the camera with the dot facing up (because of the tightness of the hole you can't put the camera all the way in & hope to get it back out easily). In this orientation, the camera picture was rotated 90 degrees (don't remember which direction). Just remember not to push the camera in all the way til you get the image lined up; it helps to hook the camera up to the monitor, turn it on and watch the monitor from the rear window as you rotate the camera.
I'm powering my camera from the reverse lights, which I measured at about 10VDC with the lights on (across the light bulb); I will likely switch to an accessory power wire so the camera is powered when the key is in the ACC position or higher. This will allow me to view the camera from my Kenwood head unit without having to put the car in reverse. I measured the camera current draw at 110mA, which is too high (for my tastes) to leave it connected to an always-hot battery line.
Picture's pretty clear, colors seem a bit washed out, but that *may* be due to the lower voltage... not sure. I'd probably recommend this camera to others.
