Since both Kohler generators and Toro Timecutter lawnmowers are reliable brands, I feel confident that oil filters from either brand will do the job. Except for the name stamped on them, the two brands appear to be identical Since Amazon delivers these Kohler filters promptly at a fair price that is the brand I use for both engines. The are easy to change without tools and do a good job of keeping the oil clean to prolong engine lives. I need to keep only one type of oil filter in inventory in inventory.
