Perfect for Pot-in-Pot Instant Pot recipes
Some IP recipes are notorious for generating the dreaded "Food Burn" notice. It means that you have food stuck to the bottom of the pot.When that happens, the easiest thing to is scrape the bottom of the pot and add some more liquid.It doesn't always work. I had this experience most recently with a baked bean recipe. The molasses in the sauce and a half cup of brown sugar is almost a guarantee that the burn notice will appear. The same thing happens with sweetened oatmeal.The foolproof solution is to use the pot-in-pot method. The trivet goes in the main pot, along with about a cup of water to generate the steam and pressure. The ingredients go into the smaller inner pot, which sits on top of the trivet.This is the pot that comes with the smaller IP. It fits perfectly. It's available in both stainless steel and ceramic. I chose the latter, but I don't think it makes too much difference in ease of cleaning.The "FOOD BURN" notice is one of the biggest annoyances in Instant Pot cooking. This eliminates the problem.

I have a Seiki 6qt pressure cooker and the non stick pot started pitting and food was sticking to the pitted areas. I couldn't find any way to get a replacement from the manufacturer as they don't have any way to communicate with them as far as I can determine. I saw this replacement pot on Amazon for a reasonable price so I ordered it. Well, it fit exactly as if it was made for this pressure cooker. It works well and I do not think that it will pit or scratch like the one that came with the pressure cooked did. So far, it has been easy to clean and it was well within my price range for a replacement.

I had an off brand instant type pot that already had a non-stick inner pot. Imagine my surprise when the on-brand, more expensive, InstaPot I bought for my father didn't have a non-stick pot. It should be a standard. Anyway, this pot fit the bill perfectly. Now he can cook whatever and cleaning is a breeze. An added bonus is that he now has two inner pots, should the need arise.

I bought this pot for the purpose of making rice in the instant pot. Every time we made rice with the stainless steel pot, it would end up sticking to the bottom and edges. This was not only an annoyance to clean but also contributed to food waste because of the extra grains we weren’t able to scrape and eat. This nonstick ceramic pot works much better and allows us to make rice a lot easier. I wouldn’t say it’s completely nonstick. There is still some mild sticking, but overall it is easier to scoop the rice off the edges with a small nudge. It is also much easier to clean. Compared to the stock stainless steel pot, it is roughly the same size and shape and fits in our 6 qt instant pot perfectly. I would recommend it for anyone aiming to make rice with their instant pot.

I ordered one of these over a year ago and the quality was not great and now has deep scratches, a sharp top edge (that actually cut my finger once) and some damage/grooves on the bottom. When the right price came along to order another, I was overjoyed to discover that they made huge improvements in quality & design. This new pot is great! It has smooth edges, seems to be a lot better made, doesn't scratch, easier to clean - great product! Works perfectly with my beloved Instant Pot. I now highly recommend!

I was disappointed with my instant pot as anything I cooked had a metallic taste (if you search online you’ll find many complaints about this issue). I decided to change the inner pot for this one and problem solved! This pot is great! Super easy to clean and no more metallic taste on food. I highly recommend it.

It's Not Non-Stick and the customer service from Instant Pot is terrible, well mind has worked very well, and I have cooked rice in it all the time, and the rice never sticks. I have never needed to call customer service so I can't comment on that, but the pot worked so well that I bought another one on sale. I rinse my rice first and then I put one tablespoon of butter with one cup of rice and two cups of water and come out fine every time. I cook it for five minutes.

Habe den Topf gekauft um einen Ersatz Topf für meinen elektronischen schnellkochtopf von Aldi zu haben name Cook der Topf passt super ich habe ihn auch schon einen testlauf durchlaufen lassen hat super funktioniert bin froh dass ich noch einen bekommen habe denn es wird immer schwerer für den alten instant pot ersatzteile zu bekommen da es so viele neue Geräte gibt und mein No-Name Topf normal nachempfunden ist an das Original.
