The LCD seems a bit overkill but it is actually pretty convenient. This battery came fully charged over 13V. I popped it in my SV and it fired right up. I shut it down and restarted a few times to make sure and it has zero problems.
The packaging was sufficient for such a small lightweight battery. It is encased in Styrofoam top and bottom and comes with a manual which mostly only covers the LCD operation.
The only thing I would change is that the battery posts are not threaded. They come with a square nut inside of the post that allows you to screw the battery cables down. You can screw into the top or the side based on how you place the nut. The only problem I had was getting the nut to sit still within the post to allow me to screw the cable down as it tends to jump around a bit especially when its being placed into the bike.
Either way, this appears to be a great battery. I hope to get a long life out of it and also keep it on a tender now when not in use. I will update this review if I ever have an issue with it. Great buy. Go for it.

Come spring 2019 when it was finally nice enough to install the battery and ride again it was dead. Not just weak but FLAT dead. Being patient and making excuses for the dead battery, I charged it back up and installed into motorcycle. My mistake. Worked ok for another month or two if motorcycle was used frequently, but went dead again when bike sat for a week. Charged battery once again and rode it to work. Leaving work it was once again too weak to turn engine over. More wasted time, with the additional expense and pleasure of a taxi ride back home.
As others have already mentioned, Chrome Battery's customer service and returns/replacement policy is a joke. Even after their defective battery was already the cause of much wasted time, maintenance, and expense, they expect the customer to pay $6.95 for the defective battery to be shipped back (and they act like they are doing you a favor). The customer now must waste more money and time waiting for a replacement battery, instead of having those days to enjoy riding.
Impression is that Chrome Battery could care less about quality and customers. Batteries that don't last a year, or even less are of no concern to them. A representative will probably reply to this and make standard excuses about company policy. Be aware that if you receive a dud from them they won't be much help.
