They say the instructions are clear, and the pump is easy to assemble. Customers also say it'd be great to have gas treatments, as it helps remove old gas from a lawn mower and drained the tank very quickly. They also say that it saves ton of money.

    243 customers mention120 positive123 negative

Customers are mixed about the value of the product. Some mention that they like the cheap price, while others say that it is cheap and took a while to get the suction and it leaked a little. The tire pump accessories are very cheap and will break, plus the hose is cheap, stiff plastic, and it unwinds. Using it with oil is taxing and messy, and this is trash. They do the job but certainly not a high quality tool, and the packaging that they are left practically useless due to the irreversible bends.

"...The unit is also a bit pricey at nearly $15, as it appears I could get the same thing at Harbor Freight for $6.99." Read more

Customers are mixed about the pump. Some mention it's good at priming and suction, while others say it'd be better with better seals. They say it works well with water, gas, and other liquids, and is easy to set up and use. However, some customers say the pump is fragile and takes a lot of work to pump, and it kinks easily. They also say it fails miserably and seizes a little bit after every use.

"Very useful pump to have in the home shop or tool shed. Useful for transferring fluids such as fuel and oil in the lawn mower, generator, etc...." Read more

    105 customers mention44 positive61 negative

Customers are mixed about the suction of the fuel pump. Some mention that it works very well and pulls all in and really quick, while others say that there was still a loss of suction, the engine is to soft and the sucession of the oil squeezed it down flat, the hose is not sturdy enough, and it needs a weight to hold it on the bottom. The pump is not labeled suction or discharge, but you figure it out quickly.

"Only used to transfer gasoline but it did great for that. Plenty of suction power and easy to use. Better than spilling gas out of safety cans!" Read more

    71 customers mention38 positive33 negative

Customers are mixed about the ease of cleaning the fuel pump. Some mention that it works fast and cleans up easily, while others say that it difficult to make it not messy at this price point. The pump can be disassembled for cleaning, but the plastic pieces that make it difficult.

Customers have issues with the seal of the fuel pump. They mention that the air leaks inside the pump housing, the tranny oil will leak a bit, and the product gushing out around the barrel. It would sit in the tub and very slowly drain, and it struggles with sphinging water from 1 sink to another. The discharge hose closes, making it difficult to manually correct the issue.

I used it to thaw a frozen defrosting drain in my refridgerator freezer

I used it to thaw a frozen defrosting drain in my refridgerator freezer
Search YouTube for "freezer dripping water", and you'll find several videos that suggest using a turkey baster to squirt hot water on the freezer coils to thaw an iced-up drain line. Normally, during the defrost cycle, the coils are warmed so that the frost melts and it drips down through a drain hose to a pan underneath the freezer, and then the water evaporates. If this drain freezes up, the frost melts and runs onto the bottom of the freezer; re-freezes, and eventually forms an "ice shelf" that can prevent the freezer door from closing all the way. After that happens, when the defrost cycle runs again, the melted ice water runs across the surface of the ice and drips onto the floor in front of the freezer.By using the multi-use siphon instead of a turkey baster, I was able to get hot water directly into the freezer vents without having to take the freezer door and drawers apart. It was a great time-saver.
