I’m personally very excited that his tunic and hair are a flexible kind of matte rubber, so you can lower his head and get an even better range of movement out of his legs— I have other figures where I’m constantly fighting the constraints of hard plastic “fabric” elements. Otherwise, the figure itself is really nice, lots of articulation etc., etc.— you know what Good Smile is all about.

This is one of the cheaper Figma figures which is appropriate since it’s only about 4.25” in height. By contrast the Figma Twilight Princess Link is around 5.5” which makes sense since the Link Between Worlds figure is intended to be a younger Link. This figure is also more whimsical with a lot less detail than the Twilight Princess figure. None of this is by accident and I really like the clean simple design.
The shoulder articulation is very good and his green tunic is nice and soft so it doesn’t impede his lateral movement. Link gets well beyond 90 degrees in elbow articulation and just about 90 degrees in knee articulation. One of my big complaints regarding the Twilight Princess Link is that the elbow joint doesn’t match the gray of his shirt but this Link has joints that are all colored correctly. Another problem with the Twilight Princess Link was how his tunic skirt constrained his legs. The tunic here is a softer material and has slits in the sides so Link can get some excellent lateral and forward/backward range. He actually has 360 degree hip rotation which I don’t believe I’ve ever seen before and 360 degree waist rotation. 360 degrees may seem excessive but I’ll take over rotation to under rotation any day of the week.
The ankle articulation is pretty weak. He has almost no ankle rocker range or front back articulation. He can turn his foot just fine. There is no ab crunch which may be a result of his small size or perhaps just some penny pinching. The biggest complaint I’ve seen is with people having their sword break. I did not have this issue but it was a little bit of a pain to get him to hold the sword. Once I got it on it was fine. As someone who has played the game I appreciate that they gave Link Ravio’s bracelet and it is removable.
Putting aside a couple of tiny complaints, this is a near perfect figure and I think the price is very fair. I like the soft plastic material and he has no loose or overly tight joints. Everything feels smooth and high quality. With his large feet he stands very easily and looks fantastic on a shelf. Top marks for this one.
This version of the figure only includes Link, the master sword, Hyrule shield and a transparent, flat plastic version of link when he's part of the "wall" (just a cut out). There is an additional "angry" face as well as four sets of hands and an extra hand joint.
There are no props or other weaponry. That version costs around $50. I never use the props so I chose to purchase this one.
I cannot believe how photogenic this figma is. I have yet to find an angle where he doesn't look good. I think photographers will have a lot of fun with this one.

In general the figure is great. The styling is well done, the molding is excellent, and the paint is flawless. The articulation is good and what you would expect from figma. I count around 25 points of articulation including the tail of the hood and as usual they are appropriately stiff to hold poses but not so stiff that it makes it hard to adjust.
The accessories here are about average for figma. It comes with the sword and shield, a variety of hands , two faces, a stand, and a plastic baggy for holding all of the spare parts. Also a 2D plastic Link representing the flat Link from the game is also given and a very nice touch.
While I really like the figure it isn't with one nagging issue. To put the sword and shield in the hands requires you to pull the handles off of both and slide it into the hand and then reattach the pieces. The hands do not open enough to grab the sword or shield. At first I really liked this feature then I found out how fragile it made the small parts on the sword and shield. Well I ended up breaking the sword handle the first time the first time I tried installing it. I superglued the sword handle to the sword in the hand and it looks fine but I deducted a star for this reason.
The asking price of around $30 isn't too much for this figure considering how great it is. If you're a Zelda fan and can be careful then it is easy to recommend this Link figure to fans or collectors.
