I received the torque wrench but something must be missing because when you turn the grip there is a nut on the end with a rod sticking out about an inch. The little rubber cap is pushed out by the rod. Called the company but could couldn’t talk to anyone who knew anything. I have talked to a couple of mechanics locally who said it must be missing something. Guess I will have to return it.

While my 3/8" drive wrench could generally put sufficient torque on, say, a B17 Sentra's lug nuts, it takes a bit more torque to properly fasten lug nuts on a typical truck or SUV. With a common tire iron, I would normally have to resort to standing on the handle to get enough torque to feel road-ready. With this torque wrench, I can reach in excess of 120 ft-lb without breaking a sweat.
It also comes with a storage case capable of holding the wrench when extended to its full length (lowest torque setting)--rather important if you want to store a torque wrench without weakening the springs and losing calibration. The factory certificate of calibration is nice to have as well.
