The longer answer is Sprint Booster reprograms the acceleration signals in your stock ECU, your car will immediately feel faster and accelerate quicker - we guarantee it. The design of the Sprint Booster allows for its easy plug-n-play installation in most cars without the need to cut any wires. And it will not interfere with your automobile's electronics (electronic injection, ABS, etc.) or other performance modifications you may have made to your vehicle. Most cars these days have replaced the more conventional throttle cable for an ECM (Electronic Control Module.) What this ECM does is, it translates how hard you push on the pedal into electronic signals which then tells the ETC (Electronic Throttle Control) how much power to provide to the wheels. This is also known as a Drive-By-Wire throttle system and has the disappointing downside of a delayed response and acceleration..."But with a Sprint Booster module installed, you'll have the ability to Override the ECM drive-by-wire and replace it with crisp, On-tap acceleration whenever you need it.     I have a 2010 Toyota Tacoma and like many others I feel it has a tendency to feel "sluggish" when pressing the peddle. Wanted something that would help with the sluggishness and kept going back and forth between Sprint Booster and Pedal Commander. I really liked the Bluetooth function that Pedal Commander offered but didn't like that it was huge compared to the Sprint Booster. Also found that Sprint Booster has overall better approval/happiness rating. Ultimately ended up going with Sprint Booster.

    Was extremely easy to install (once you get the connector off on the pedal). The hardest part was getting the OEM connector off of the pedal. Once that was off and reconnected everything works great. I've been using it for 3 weeks and so far it is a HUGE difference. Feels like a completely new truck.

    Although a little pricey it is well worth it. Just a heads up it doesnt give you extra horsepower. It just makes the throttle response more responsive. I set my to a "Race" mode & #4 setting.

    I would recommend this to any one wanting to "wake" up their Tacoma.
