Having a custom built overland trailer posed a problem on getting good high-quality trailer lights. The base trailer came with bulbs that have burned out and were replaced with another pair that broke after bumping them.

I had been looking for some very bright lights for our trailer and decided on this set because they had reverse, brake and running lights all in one.
These lights are very bright, especially the turn signals and backup lights. These lights are excellent quality unlike the previous ones I bought before these. These have held up to the elements the past few weeks and show no sign of condensation or leaking. The connectors make it easy to install these on an existing system which was a nice plus.

The LEDs look to be of excellent quality so I don’t expect them to burn out like some of the other cheap ones. These are very slim (roughly 1.5”) tall so they look really good installed on the trailer without taking up much room.

Amazon shipped in two days and the packaging was in excellent condition and very sturdy.

TL:DR - The lights come pre-wired for easy installation. These lights are great for all types of projects.

Update; 2 years later. These are great. They've lasted through 2 Ohio Winters without a problem. I'm getting another set because one got smashed.

These are really nice for the money and have performed well for a month or so without leaking or led failure, but time will tell. Keep in mind, you have to use these with cars that have a separate blinker bulb and can't wire them directly into a standard trailer harness due to the separate blinker.

Regardless, they made awesome XJ bumper lights and I'm going to get a spare set to keep around just in case these fail.

Also, these are just too dim for bright day time use and they're not DOT approved. Another annoyance is they don't offer extension leads for use with these.

Green wire connected to 12+ while black is connected to ground turns on turns on the tail light mode. When you then add the Red wire to 12+ (while the green is also connected to 12+ and ground is connected) the Red light gets a tad brighter but barely. Not enough to differentiate braking mode. I get about 20 lumens difference between the two with my light meter and that will fail DOT inspection. Now I have to add an additional set of brake lights next to each of these sides two differentiate brake mode for the drivers behind me to notice braking is activated. Obviously I will add a center brake light too but these lights are supposed to also suggest braking mode. Not so! Buyer beware. They are a sleek design but poor circuitry design. Look elsewhere.

Plastic construction is worrysome, however install was great on my custom wooden flatbed. The holes for the bolts can be switched out for a common deck screw which worked awesome for my fastening. I soldered my connections together, they provided color coding in one page info provided, but something concerning is wire guage is so thin that if tugged on it is possible for it to rip. For others that are putting this on their vehicle (as opposed to their trailer) be prepared for blinker to go really fast (because its LED). If you think it will bother you plan ahead for solution for that
