2. How to Operate
1) ESS300 portable generator can be charged by solar charger solar panels and AC wall outlets. Use our provided Anderson-DC cable or Anderson-MC4 cable to connect solar panel. Max 240W of solar panel input. Use our provided AC charger 90W to do AC charging.
2) Solar charging time: depending on solar panel power and sunlight irradiation. Recommend our 60W or 120W Solar Charger (ASIN: B074892C1K) sold on Amazon.
3) Powerful loading abilities. 2*USB ports, 2*QC3.0, 3*12v output, 1*15v 1*20v, 2*AC 300W 110V outlets. Enables to charge cellphones, 5v/12v/15v/20v compatilbe devices and batteries, and small power home appliances.
4) TFT display allows you to monitor battery capacity, solar charging power, AC/DC output power easily.
5) You are required to fully charge ESS300 once it shows lower battery power.

I received the 300W Megasolar Solar Generator as a gift and had nothing but problems from the day I received. The first problem was the AC charger did not charge the unit. I had to use a hobby charger I have for my drones and charge through the solar input plugs to get the batteries charged. Once charged the DC USB and other DC connections work but the AC plugins do not. The AC plugins are what I liked about the unit and it would be great if they worked. I have spent a couple months emailing, following their instructions, taking apart, taking pictures and voltage testing the Unit and communicating the results back to Megasolar. They finally said it needs to be replaced but I do not have a receipt and I do not think they are going to replace without one.......UPDATEI have gotten confirmation from Megasolar that they will replace the Unit - I have updted the review from 1 Star to 3 Stars. I will update this review once I have received the replacement unit and all checks out. If the replacement generator works as stated it will be worth a 5 star rating.UPDATEMegaSolar has been very helpful and I think we have a resolution so I can replace the Unit. Decent size and weight, nice readouts. AC inverter was a little loud, and went on and off making it impossible to use with AC CPAP. AC charger didn't work so no way to recharge.

Once charged the DC USB and other DC connections work but the AC plugins do not. The AC plugins are what I liked about the unit and it would be great if they worked.
