Product Description

RFCC TTG2 combines 3 devices:
1. a front view camera adapter
2. a rear view camera adapter
3. a front camera switch


Additionally installed rear view camera should be powered from ACC line (first key turn), otherwise the camera input will be not active. Depending on the type of connected camera, namely on the voltage required for the camera, you can use input voltage +6 V, which the monitor produces. In case the camera requires more than +6 V, connect the camera power to ACC line. Only NTSC cameras are supported. Front view camera should be powered up only from the RFCC.

This is a great kit for my Entune system in my Tacoma to add a front camera. In reverse gear it shows the factory camera view but once in Drive gear it shows the front camera until I get to around 12 mph. Above that speed you can double tap the mode button on the steering wheel to see the cameras & toggle front to back with the up/down arrow buttons. Once in the manual mode you can press & hold the mode button till you hear a beep & it will stay in camera mode on the screen until you either shift out of drive gear or tap the mode button again. I ended up using the TOPTIERPRO TTP-C12B camera from Amazon for my front camera & works amazing! Great kit, easy to install & very happy I finally got this kit ordered!!! Thanks!

Install was tricky, especially since I had already had some custom wiring that was in the way with their wiring harness design, however after making some adjustments to the wiring harness I was able to make it all fit. Once it was plugged in...it just worked! I have the OEM rear camera and an aftermarket front camera, both work at the touch of a button on my steering wheel. Great for parking and for seeing the trail in tight quarters. Definitely worth the cost!

I purchased this less than a year ago for my 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport non-JBL stereo system (Panasonic) and IT HAS BEEN WORKING ever since but now has failed. When placing the transmission in reverse the screen now becomes black with no image. I switched it via the control on the steering wheel to the rear and front camera with no change. Still black. I pulled it out from behind to see if some wires were loose or disconnected but all were fine. I checked to see if any wires were cut or damaged but all are fine. I disconnected all connectors and reconnected them but still shows only a black screen. I completely removed the module and only plugged the original wire harness back in the radio unit and now I can see the rear camera function properly. There seems to be a problem with the module itself. I sent this issue to Germeslab more than 3 months ago and they have bounced me back and forth from the sales team to the support team back to the sales team all they while asking what my problem is even though I have forwarded ALL correspondence between each group. They don't read the emails and ask me to do the same thing that I have already done. They seem like they are just kicking me around so they don't have to take accountability for replacing this $190 module. When they replace this I will change the review.

 Installation is very intuitive. The act of pulling apart the dash section, removing the head unit, plugging all the connections, testing then putting it all back together was easy and quite rewarding.

The one issue i found was the camera rca connection (bought separately, but suggested by amazon) is red. The front view rca connection for the head unit harness is yellow. The rear view rca connection on the harness is red. I had to plug the red camera rca into the yellow head rca, in order to get a front camera view. The harness red rca isn't used. While testing, i plugged by color, red to red, and got a rear view Wayne's World dream sequence on the display. After correcting, all is well and no damage to any of the functions.

All in all, a pleasant DIY project. Google the installation vids, see what you're up against and dive in!

It’s basically plug and play the only wire needing lengthened is the camera ground and since the camera does not come with the package I’m not taking off any stars. This product was pretty easy to install as advertised. Front camera works well with steering wheel buttons. After install I noticed it started to interfere with my key fob. I’m not able To lock the car right away after turning off car. Like I have to wait a few seconds as if there’s a glitch with my key fob or some interference with the signal. I even changed out the battery of the key fob hoping it was that, but it wasn’t. Waiting to hear from seller and manufacturer to see if there’s a solution or if they will send me another one. Maybe the one I got is defected . We will see, I will update review once I get a response or solution.
