I like how easy it was to install these on my truck. I installed LED bulbs and my turn signals started to hyper flash. I was able to run these resistors In circuit and it completely stopped the hyper flashing. It came with the pinch on wire connectors but I opted to use but connectors instead. These little guys worked perfectly and for the price it was well worth it!!

I installed LED lighting on my car hauler and lost the Towing Assist function in my LR4 when hauling with said trailer. I installed these resistors using the old tail lamp housings as enclosures for the resistors, and tucked them underneath I soldered the resistors to the turn signal leads of my trailer and grounded to my trailer. My LR now once again recognizes a trailer being attached. They get very warm/hot so I suggest mounting them to a heat sink.

The provided jumper clips seem to be too small for the gauge wire on my trailer, which I assume is industry standard size (18/16 gauge.) I suggest soldering, if possible.

I will report back to this review if anything changes, but as of 02/14/24, everything functions correctly.

Wire splices are cheap(unsurprisingly)

In terms of working ability, they work great. Stopped my problem with rapid flashing in my led's. However, the splicers are REALLY cheap. These splicers have a little bit of plastic that wraps around and keeps the circuit tight. When I pulled my splices out of the bag, one of the fasteners for the splice literally just fell off the splice. Ultimately the splice still worked, but now it's an insecure splice, which leaves open the opportunity for short circuits/other wires to touch the splice and cause a problem. Oh also, the resistors definitely warm up, but I think as long as you don't have one specific blinker on for 20+ minutes you shouldn't worry about wire melting or anything dangerous happening.

Works great, installation not simple on Audi A4

In order to install on my Audi A4, I had to remove the rear light module and use an ohmmeter to find out which pin corresponded to the backup bulb. The plastic clips that came with the resistors didn't work, so I had to cut the wires (blue/red for power to the backup lights, brown for ground), strip them, and splice in the leads to the load resistors. I used heat-shrink tubing to ensure the splices held. Re-installed the light modules, worked great - no more warnings that the rear bulbs are burned out. Took about an hour for the first one, 10 minutes for the second.
