Stops Rattling, Wobblling Caused By Sloppy Hitch Connection
This device reduces if not stop clanking, rattling, rocking, wobbling, and jerking caused by sloppy connection resulting to a smooth and quiet towing experience. Will work on 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. Unit includes a heavy-duty 1/2" diameter steel U-bolt with galvanized finish, powder coated plate that will stand up to all weather conditions and applications. Installation is easy by sliding the U-bolt over the hitch bar, sliding the tightener plate into the bolt, and tightening it in place with the included hardware. Unit can also be installed or mounted from the bottom if hitch ground clearance is low. Perfect for a variety of applications to include sedans, SUV’s, vans, trucks, RV’s, trailers, campers and more.

A little skeptical.
This is the initial review for this product that I just received. I'm a little skeptical because of all the reviewers stating the thread strips, or the metal starts rusting. I will be using this infrequently, but will update after a little while. For now, it looks like it's made well, and the only defect (which I forgot to photograph) is that one of the threads has a nick on it, although that didn't impair the nut's ability to thread smoothly and easily.
