Retevis support got back to me and emailed me a link for the latest software, and now I'm able to WRITE/READ fine. Great quick support and radio. I will probably purchase another one.

The Retevis RT76P is everything I hoped it would be except for and more. These are really good radios and supper great price. The transmit distance is excellent, actually even farther than my ham radio HT's. The programming software is a little dicey, but make sure you contact Retevis for the current version and firmware update.The online software crashes. It asks for a password both when you WRITE and READ, but you don't need it. Just hit OK and it will work. I will probably purchase another one.
