Powerful dependable value
My son in law introduced me to the Rugcel brand a couple of years ago. He runs one on his ‘85 Toyota pickup and it has worked flawlessly in many tough situations. So put one in my wife’s FJ Cruiser and now in mine. This new one is rated at a higher pulling strength. The video I posted is of my FJ stuck on a steep hill. It pulled it out even with no help from the tires at first. I like the ease of installation, the protective sleeves on the rope, the two remotes, cover, and wired remote. No need to buy the name on higher-priced winches.

I purchased this winch a year ago and installed it. I travel a lot and never really tested it outside the parking lot, pavement, or generally cleaning the synthetic line from time to time. But last weekend (6/24/23) I hit the trails and it failed when I actually needed it the most. First real use and it failed! It was not even that taxing of a pull and it failed and left me stranded on the trail. I reached out to the company with no reply. I will be updating reviews on our area Facebook groups.

NEVER had vehicle in water. Never used winch,,,, until now and it did NOT work. Completely full of water and manufacture will not answer emails or amazon requests. Absolutely should NOT buy these products.
