I applied this undercoating on August 24th (2021), with the Surface Shield spray bottles that I bought from eBay. Today is December 18th, 2021. The undercoating is holding up great so far, as you can see in the pictures here. I will update when a full year has elapsed, because I want to see if it lasts that long also, just like you guys.Update August 11th 2022:Bad news: It seems that the Blaster Surface Shield has completely worn away from some external surfaces near the front of the car, however that is because I take it through tunnel washes with the underbody wash feature. So buyer beware, do NOT use an underbody wash until after winter is done! I have attached a photo of the front subframe from late September 2021 (Yes, September 2021!), this picture was taken after probably 2-3 automatic underbody washes. I didn't think anything of it until now, because I thought the Surface Shield turned into a slick, invisible finish. But now I realized that the Surface Shield had more obviously stayed on the rear subframe and the emergency brake lines for a much longer time. The other pictures attached are the rear subframe from December 2021. So, STAY AWAY FROM UNDERBODY WASHES UNTIL SPRING!!!!Good news: The Blaster Surface Shield still remains INSIDE the subframes that I sprayed it inside. I accidentally put my finger inside the front subframe, and I took it out completely covered in Blaster Surface Shield. This happened in July 2022 (11 months after I coated it in late August 2021).The coating has also remained on the rear subframe, as evidenced by an attached picture labeled August 11th, 2022. It's getting a bit spotty, but I will excuse it due to the underbody washes. Also, the rear subframe coating lasted as long as I needed it to, offering protection on my car for at least a year.NOTE: When I undercoated my vehicle in August 2021, I used the Blaster Surface Shield 12oz cans. That's why you didn't see a "Verified Purchase" label next to my review until today. I just bought the whole 1 gallon size, and a dedicated undercoating sprayer to help cover everything at a much more efficient cost. I paid eBay about $13 per can last year for 6 cans, and I think that was a rip-off to be honest.ANOTHER NOTE: As of the time of editing this review again, (8/18/2022), I noticed that a 1 gallon can of Fluid Film costs less than HALF as much as the 1 gallon jug of Blaster Surface Shield here. Blaster Surface Shield is comprised of 2 active ingredients, the lanolin and the petroleum jelly. The petroleum jelly seems to like to stay in internal surfaces for a very long time (the inside of the front subframe for a year so far), but the lanolin doesn't seem to last as long. And considering that my front subframe exterior is dry, I think it might be a good idea to alternate between Fluid Film and Blaster Surface Shield for the cost savings. You won't need recurring application of the petroleum jelly stuff in Blaster Surface Shield, because it stays in inner locations for a long time (while it doesn't seem to last on exterior surfaces). You could save a bit of money and use Fluid Film every other year and just coat the external areas before winter, so you still have the desired rust protection.
