Accurate bow with the right arrows and accessories

Accurate bow with the right arrows and accessories
The Barnett Blackcat was excellent when sighted in with the scope. The problem though is that the kit comes with the wrong arrows and not sure it considers it as dry firing when using them as the bow has a required grain limit to meet. The arrows provided were 18" recruit arrows when the description and information say to use 20" arrows. When I contacted Amazon they referred me to Barnett and after weeks of replies, they sent me a pack of 20" arrows but would never reply to whether or not the bow was safe after firing the wrong size arrows from it to sight it in. Ultimately I was able to return it to Amazon for another kit. The second kit has the same arrows so beware when buying it does not come with the 20" arrows. The correct arrows are the Barnett headhunters 20" which are red fins with white fins. The wrong arrows are the 18" recruit which are orange fins with white fins. Also, the kit does not come with a cocking device that must be purchased separately. You also have to watch which cocking device you get and recommend the Barnett device as some have the wrong size hooks for the string sizes.

Great little bow. Not very heavy not hard to get your head around. Easy to restring. I recommend 20-22 inch bolts with 125-150 grain heads. Have shot around 50 bolts and have it sighted in after about 10 or so. Will say due to the light weight it has some more of a kick than heavier crossbows so getting a good shot is somewhat tricky. Worth the price when I bought it at 200$.

So because of where I live and my proximity to other homes I wanted somthing that didn't sound like I was shooting my rifle 600yrd away from my neighbors and kinda give them that piece of mind that I wasn't shooting towards their home. I had never done archery before so I wanted to wet my toe and try a crossbow. I also didn't want to spend a fortune considering I already have deer rifles. Im am so glad I bought this. I have harvested 4 deer from my property with it. All I had to buy was a string cocker, a few carbon express bolts and a pack of G5 montecs. The closest I shot one was 10 yards and my furthest shot was 34 yards. I found all my deer within 50 yards because this thing is a tack driver and they were all heart shots. I definitely recommend this crossbow. I dont know how long it will last but I feel like I've gotten my monies worth from it already.
