I bought this mount for my 2019 Yamaha Waverunner VXR ("jet ski"), and utilized a 'Ram Mounts' base and articulating arm in conjunction with this impressive little phone mount to mount my phone to the PWC. On the water I use my phone much the same way you would on a motorcycle - for everything from simple things such as listening to music, to charting plots and using navioniocs software to navigate, to more important things like viewing my sonar system so I don't run aground. I mounted the Ram base to the flat plastic trim that makes up the "dash" (if you could call it that) between the handlebars and the gauge cluster. I placed the Ram base's mounting plate on the left side (just to the left of the gauges) so that the phone doesn't get in the way of being able to see the screen of the electronic gauge cluster, but is still tucked far enough behind the left mirror and gauge pod of the deck lid that I don't have to worry about wind or water beating on the phone or mount while under way. Although it may have initially been designed for motorcycle applications, I can tell you that without a fraction of a doubt if it can stand up to the abuses of being mounted to a Jet ski/SeaDoo/etc then it can handle darn-near anything on-road (so long as you keep your bike rubber-side down). The mount itself is made of what feels like some sort of stout yet lightweight metal that was CNC'd out during production, and then anodized to provide not only a good fit & finish but what also seems like some extreme durability. I was impressed to find that the springs that assist in the clamping action when inserting your phone are inside the mount itself, with no visible way of getting the mount apart to take them out. This is important because although I'm not interested in taking my brand new phone mount apart, if it were to feel so cheap that it would seem immediately obvious as to how I could get it apart then in my mind that tells me that I may encounter a potential failure of the product at some point. In fact, so far as I can tell there are no screws or other fastening hardware anywhere that I can see on the exterior of the mount, which again is great because it means no rusting in the salt water I'm in, and no further points of potential failure. Remember, I'm using it in a water application... Dropping it from a moving motorcycle may be bad enough, but if the mount fails in my application, it's going to the bottom of the Chesapeake Bay. And it's taking my $800 Samsung Galaxy with it.
The bottom line here, is this: the Tackform phone mount is rugged, yet sleek and refined looking. Has exceptional clamping force to keep your phone in place with or without the included rubber tether that they include for peace of mind (for applications such as mine). It uses a standard 1" ball, for modular mounting in a variety of applications, enabling you to not only adjust the mount easily but also quickly move it from place to place (i.e. from my Waverunner to my ATV if need be). It's built so well that I have a hard time seeing where it would fail, if at all. And one of the most important factors that speaks to it's build quality (to me anyway), is that it's made in America, by an American company, using American parts, and good old fashioned American Ingenuity. Yes, it may be slightly more expensive than those other cheap handle bar mounts that you can find online, but I promise you that you're getting what you pay for here. Why risk destroying your $300-1,000 phone just because you found some Chinese phone mount that was $15 cheaper? For me, this one was a no-brainer. I'm relatively certain that this mount is going to outlast the phone that's being mounted in it. And I'm extremely confident that the next time I need a device mount for anything, I'll once again be turning to the American made - Tackform.
Overall this is a great product and a good alternative to the RAM X mount. I use RAM systems in all my vehicles but wanted to try a different phone mount so went with this.
It’s beautiful simplicity and it looks very well made with tight tolerances. And I like the minimalist appearance for when there’s no phone in it.
My only gripe is that the spring mechanism is actually a little TOO strong. While that’s great for holding onto the device (it doesn’t go anywhere) it makes it kind of annoying for removing and reinserting it single handed. I put way too much force on my dash mount when I pull the spring mechanism against it so I usually use a second hand to stabilize the RAM arm while I pull the spring grip out to remove the phone. If there was a way to adjust the grip strength I’d definitely loosen it a little.

Grips a phone in a case well due to small silicone inserts. You'll want to think about where your phone's buttons are - the clamp is wide and it might press them. I solved that by buying a cheap phone case and shaving down the button on it and it works fine.
Il supporto sembra robusto e pratico, il telefono si aggancia e sgancia velocemente.
Io l'ho installato sul supportocon attacco RAM del navigatore TOM TOM, ovviamente se non avete il supporto RAM dovete acquistare il modello completo
