Top USB port does not work--will not charge devices. Bottom port works. Rear end panel through which the wires pass was loose/broken upon arrival. USB cords are loose and sloppy when plugged in. Blue illumination light is too bright and distracting. It fit the left-side switch bank of a Lexus GX460 well, but the quality of the component is poor. Very frustrating to dismantle and reinstall the interior pieces for a defective and poorly made product.

This fit perfect into my 2011 Toyota 4runner. It fit perfectly were the Auxillary plug was. I did not need the AUX cord since I replaced the head unit with an aftermarket one. When My Samsung Note 10+ is connected and charging, while charging it reads "Super Fast Charging". It took my phone from 17% to 90 in about 30 minutes. All in all I am pleased with the charger, It looks stock in the truck and works great.

I have purchased this same adapter port twice now, and I cant speak to the first ones durability as I have since sold the truck. However, this charger port has already failed after less than 3 months of VERY minor use. The actual ports themselves have separated from the face plate, and just pushed back into the dash, rendering the ports useless. It's not like these things are being hammered on, I leave my phone cable plugged into the QC port, and have only plugged/unplugged cables a handful of times since install.

I almost never leave bad reviews on products, unless they just really don't work. If the Vendor would like to send me a replacement and it works out better I will gladly update my review, but as it stands I'm giving this a whopping 1-star.

Product fit in 2011 Tacoma, but would not connect to the 12V connector. Ultimately I had to buy T-tap terminals to splice the connections. Easy to do, just took extra materials. Hardest part is getting access to the install location below the AC controls.
I also "turned off" the green LED by cutting into the side of the housing with a razor blade and breaking the LED connections with a small screw driver. I then covered the hole with some electrical tape.
Ultimately installation was more involved than I hoped, but the end result is great.

Do not buy this unless you have easy access to replace it. Installed it in my 2007 Toyota Tundra. Had to wiggle the wires behind the dash to get it to intermittently connect. Product feels cheap and flimsy. Would not stay powered without holding the wires in a certain position on the back of the USB. The barbed tabs are large and don’t have room depress/release when installed into the standard size Toyota Dash knockout. Would have rated it zero stars if possible.
