    Does a great job but lacks refinement

    I wasn't happy with the price/value of other awnings available online. This awning had 80-90% of the functionality of others at 1/3 of the cost. I was very surprised at how nice the pvc coated cover was, as well as the aluminum rail & tarp material. The most frustrating part of this awning was the mounting hardware and lack of setup instructions (online or otherwise. The mounting hardware may work for vehicles with horizontal cross bars, but if you are mounting this to a roof rack with vertical bars you will need to build/buy custom hardware. During the installation process I struggled to slide the bolts down the length of the aluminum rail without it catching and siezing along the way. Additionally, it is unclear how the awning legs lock out with any amount of strength. Overall, once ...

    Really good buy

    Honestly it's a great product. It's certainly thinner aluminum than the name brand products, but the awning material held up 2 inches of wet snow overnight while camping recently and didn't flinch. There are a few little things they could do that would make it incredible, but for the price it's a solid purchase! Very happy!

    Basic awning

    Fits my 2010 Toyota Highlander with factory roof rack. Easy to install if you have a ratcheting wrench, it would be even easier. Provides a nice shady area to hang out under. Haven’t tried driving with it on the freeway…just driven with it to the park. Seems sturdy enough to stay on.
