makes moving my radio between vehicles much easier
Not much to say, it's a remote cable for my ID-5100. It's nice and long, and even comes with a coupler you could use to extend the exsting line for say an installation over a long run to the trunk, though I did not need it. Everything's good quality, though it did cost a little more than I was expecting, although it seems others selling similar cables are asking even more for them. But It's hard to find a 6-wire RJ-11 so there's not many options on where to buy it, this was the best price I could find. I bought this one becaue I had to temporarily move my radio to another vehicle and it was easier to get a second cable for the other vehicle than to move the already run cable in the first vehicle. This will make it easier to swap vehicles in the future also now that I hae a control ... Not much to say, it's a remote cable for my ID-5100. Worked out of the box
All it is a standard ethernet cable, pin 1 to pin 1 and pin 8 to pin 8. I could have made up my own but didn't have the time. It was nice to have a cable available (ready made up).
