This is probably one of the better weed wackers I ever owned. I had many other brands and this one keep on going when others died in less than a year. I have 4 acres so it get used alot during spring.  It  marinates in the garage during the winter, but still only take 2-3 pulls to fire up after sitting. This one is 2 years old now and still running like a champ. I do only use Tech pre-mixed gas. I do believe this helps because this doesnt gel up during the off season. I know this thing is priced Low but it really does last and takes down some weeds.

Love that it is longer and can get into hard to reach places! I always liked 2 strings so this was a good buy

I purchased a small light weight Murray  gas weed eater about 10 years ago from Walmart to use at Church and home .  I did all the way around the church , trees and road area, then my home .  Same spark pug , did clean it off and touch up with some sandpaper and fresh proper mixed gas . Still using , always starts and runs good . It is small , so it is not good for heavy weeds and brush , good everyday trimmer , light weight so it will not  wear you out . I turn it on it's side to trim . Looking for a new one, the old ones got to stop one of these days.

Murray light weight weed eater

Comfortable to hold during use and starts easy right out of the box. It is louder than other models I've used before and has a lot of vibration in the handle.

Good economy option

This weedeater (Murry M2510) runs fairly well after 2 years of use, however, the head is designed in such a way that it sucks weeds right in to the shaft, and bogs it down, then you get to go clean it out. If they  would just fix that, then it would be a good weedeater.

nice, but...

If you are wanting to buy the trimmer blades that Wal-Mart also sells you CAN NOT put them on this trimmer even tho it says on the package that you can.  Need to buy the more expensive trimmer.

A word to the wise.

Trimmer has been working fine until now.   I've been trying unsuccessfully to reach someone at the square trade protection plan for the last hour.  Getting the run around.

throttle cable not connected ,  gas line for primer bulb not connected, cutting not wrapped correctly.   Took 15 minutes to get started.

errors in  equipment

This junk doesn't start at all. I have used it only like 4 or 5 times. Now it doesn't start. Should have got an electric one with a push button start. Your hand will get tired of pulling the string to start this junk. Now I don't know what to do with this junk because I can't return it to walmart, and if i call the company, probably they will say to mail this junk on my own expense.
