With the rapid development of Role-Playing Games (RPGs), players are now allowed to edit the facial appearance of their in-game characters with their preferences rather than using default templates. This paper proposes a game character auto-creation framework that generates in-game characters according to a player's input face photo. Different from the previous methods that are designed based on neural style transfer or monocular 3D face reconstruction, we re-formulate the character auto-creation process in a different point of view: by predicting a large set of physically meaningful facial parameters under a self-supervised learning paradigm. Social media have become an arena of rapid dissemination of information, global communication, self-promotion, freedom of expression, but also hot debates and powerful tool of shaping identity. Identity is the concept socially attributed. Social media identity is regarded as "an extension of everyday life and cultural change tool." So, identity formation as a social concept is being transformed with new global methods. This transformation is happening thanks to social media. Social networking platforms enable the creation and placement of real or false identity in the virtual world. Online identity paper analyzes the creation of identity, motives that push individuals to create these identities, compares the creation of identities in the virtual and real world and the way of communication between users. Also addresses the problem of communication with anonymous users, with whom the impression of individual identity is explored.

User Names in the Gaming Community Playforia2013 •
The article examines registered personal names in online communities. The term user name is used when referring to these names. The research data consists of 279 user names collected from Playforia, a Finnish online gaming community. The main research subject is the structure of user names. In the article, it is suggested that user names can be divided into two functionally different parts. The identifying part is the foundation of user name, usually its lingual part. A user name must be unique in the community it is registered to. Therefore, there is also a supplementary part in many names which sets the name apart from other user names with the same identifying part. For example, the identifying part in the name someone44914 is someone and the supplementary part is 44914. The article also covers the capitalization of user names. All proper names are capitalised in standard written language, but capitalization is voluntary in user names. Only 60% of the user names in the data are capitalised, which makes the future of this orthographic rule uncertain. Thirdly, the article examines the features of good user names. Researching good names in general is an important theme for socio-onomastics. Consequently, research methodology and collecting data is discussed in the article.

In some games, players can choose to play with different characters from a pre-defined list, exercising distinct roles in each match. Although such games were created to promote competition and promote self-improvement, there are several recurrent issues. One that has received the least amount of attention is the problem of "account sharing" so far is when a player pays more experienced players to progressing in the game. The companies running those games tend to punish this behaviour, but this specific case is hard to identify. The aim of this study is to use a database of mouse and keystroke dynamics biometric data of League of Legends players as a case study to understand the specific characteristics a player will keep (or not) when playing different roles and distinct characters.
