So with an empty bed and no shell loosing .5 to .75 what would be the total amount of lift ?

It seems to very truck to truck, but around 1.5" to 2" lift. Just subtract the thickness of the overload leaf from the height of the rear, and that will give you a good idea.

So I just bought a set of the Icon 3 leaf progressive pack, and 2 Icon rear 2.0 Resi shocks. I thought in the directions of the install of the leaf pack it states to take the overload out anyway?

That is correct for our standard install, some people carry additional weight though. If this is the case you can leave the overload in to handle that. Leaving the overload in will add spring rate, along with some additional height from the thickness of the overload and pending the amount of added weight.

I don't haul anything so I can take it out? And while I got you online. Will I need shims to prevent vibrations at all?

Thanks for your time. So no shims needed as well?

No, just follow the install instructions located at that link and there should not be anything else required.

Right or wrong, I removed the bolt from the spring bracket, tapped the spring bracket, and bolted the ebrake to the spring bracket with a bolt short enough not to interfere with the springs.

At the risk of beating a dead thread to death again,,,
Anyone have instructions for installing the ICON progressive AAL and keeping the overload in?
The aal is painted over the pin and looks like it would have to be tapped out in order for it to be re-installed through the OL up through the AAL and the rest of the pack,
    Can anyone validate this?

On my 14 access cab sport pre runner the factory pin isn't threaded through the original leaf pack. Once you remove the factory pin you should be able to remove the pin On the icon and place the 3leaf in the leaf pack and re install the icon pin. I just installed my AAL Tuesday but took out the OL. Here's a picture of the factory pin that I removed from my original pack. image.jpg
