The fender bolt is just cruel... After about 30/45 mins I finally got one out and figured out the best way to do it. Next one took like 5 mins... Hateful though.

For faded headlights spray some Off bug repellent on them and wipe them down, works just like the headlight restore kits being sold and you'll have nice clear lights again.

    Wat?

The restore kits and toothpaste and baking soda and etc,. etc,. etc,. work because they all contain a mild abrasive. DEET also melts plastic so make sure whatever bug repellent you use is DEET free.

I have no idea why bug repellent would remove oxidation, unless it's a chemical reaction which I would personally not want on headlight housings. YMMV.

Me neither but I heard it from somewhere and tried it on one of my works F450 trucks, surprised it actually worked!

Bug spray would also help keep the bugs off the lenses lol.

There are some good headlight restoration kits on the market. I sell one to one of my customers that has a usex car lot. I was pretty impressed with it. They use it to freshen up all the yellowed lights.

But nothing g is as good as new.
