I have been moddin trucks and jeeps my whole life, but as I get older they get less and less extreme. From one ton Jeeps on 40's to lifted 3/4 ton diesels on 37's. Some how I find myself with a 2015 pre-runner double cab.

It currently has 245 Dunlap's (love the term yall come up with Dunflops). I want to keep my MPG some what in tack. Currently averaging 18-19 mixed driving.

I am thinking of 4" spindle lift or adjustable shocks and springs (less than 3")

The tires I have looked at include BFG KO2 and ST MAXX. I have looked at 255/85/16 and 285/70/17. I'm not attached to the stock TRD offroad wheels but I am not opposed to running them with or with out spacers.

My thinking is to try to find a load c 285 or load e 255 and try to keep width and weight down to maintain 16/18 MPG. I want an aggressive looking AT but road manors are a must and I live in the south so snow is no concern. What do yall think of this theory?
