Driving home from work I noticed my shift boot had come loose from my console. I tried to wiggle it around, but I can't seem to get it to connect back to the console.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any tricks to getting it back on correctly?

Lining it up with the opening from below, and pulling it straight upward by the rim oughta do it, if the retaining clips in the console are still intact.
