    Hello Tacomaworld Community!!

Just registered in the forums and it was suggested that I write an introduction, so here I am.

I bought my first Tacoma, a V6 PreRunner, brand new in 2000 and just bought my second Tacoma, a V6 Pre Runner Dbl Cab TRD Sport in black, brand new, this past December. I don't doubt my new one will last me for years and years to come.

In the last few months that I've owned my truck, I've done the following modifications: a) window tinting throughout b) installed an aftermarket stereo. Next on the list is installing a Grillcraft MX grille in place of the existing OEM grille. This particular install is actually what brought me to this forum.

I'm happy to be a member and look forward to learning about and sharing about these wonderful trucks and my experiences with mine.

On a side note - I also named my truck. Not sure if anyone else does this, but it just seemed like the right thing to do. So in future posts of mine, should I ever mention the name Rachel - well, there you go.

    Thanks all, and happy wheeling!!

Thank you guys for the warm welcome! Aside from the suggested threads regarding things like how to improve gas mileage, are there any particular threads you've found to be extra interesting?

Thanks again! Glad to be here.

@ ODNAREM - thanks! I actually did the install today, all by myself. I could not be happier with the way it all came out. I took my time and did it right. I chose to also add a TRD self-adhesive badge, inspired by the Carol Shelby Cobra badging, for an extra sporty appearance. I think it looks super clean and only whets my appetite for more mods, haha.

Thanks! I checked out your build - holy cow!! You've got a great truck there. I'm planning on a suspension lift as well, but after dumping a good amount into my aftermarket stereo, it will have to wait for a while.

    Great looking truck!!
