What oil to use in differentials

    Hi all, I haven't changed the differential oil in my 97 before and I was wondering what you guys think the best option would be. Thanks in advance!

    75w-90 synthetic gear oil.

    Make sure you can fill it before you drain it.

    Whatever weight is in your owners manual.

    If it meets the specifications you'll probably never notice the difference between synthetic and conventional. Lots of guys swear by AMS sever gear oil. If you want to drop some dough then that's the path for you. Otherwise I'd just use whatever conventional is on sale from a major brand. It'll be less likely to leak and, again, odds are you won't notice any difference over a synthetic.

    New oil is going to feel awesome either way.
