So, I am looking at buying a set of SAW's (56000-108, 8" travel). I was under the impression that this was the appropriate shock for a mid travel set up, but am now having doubts......Any clarification would be great. I have been through the posts, and not found anything definative on what shock travel is appropriate for a mid travel, and most MFG's are not too open with their spec's/dimensions.........

Not sure on the exact size OE is but its closer to a 6in shock not a 8in. With a 8in you'll new new lowers to fit that size shock. Most guys who are LT run a 8in shock

Thank you. I wasn't sure if a mid travel with uniball UCA's was 6.5" or 8" of travel. I have also seen some people calling mid travels long travels, which adds to the confusion. Any idea what travel length a mid travel extended travel shock is?
