I'm in the wear a suit crowd and if fact that was my first response in the thread. But, and what I was attempting to express (I see I did so poorly) was concern for the instruction he received about business casual. Of course it's over now...or close.

Yes, yes inquiring minds want to know.

I figured it would be best to walk in and flop it in the table.

I had an interview yesterday, the attire was to be business casual. I wore dress pants and a dress shirt, no tie. Im happy I went this route. The interviewer was cracking jokes the whole time, and I would have felt overdressed in a suit.

"You're wearing tuxedos to a job that requires you to clean bathrooms"

IMO overdressing is as bad as under dressing.

Good luck with the job, hopefully youll get it.

As a former office cleaner, that job interview I wore a polo shirt and casual slacks and cowboy boots. I didn't go with jeans and workboots because I was on the way to the job I had at the time..but it worked out.

Well I wore a suit. Interview went ok. Heard through the grape vine that my interview was in the top few they had given up to around noon today. There are six more applicants interviewing tomorrow. Was also confirmed that there were 7 positions available.

When I walked out of the interview the guy next in line was in a suit aswell but I think he was confused with a Jonny cash look alike contest. He had a black suit, black shirt and black tie.

So should he wear the suit??? or..

Maybe we should be figuring out the strictest imaginable definition of business casual. Yep, that should do the trick.

Have you followed up with a "thank you" yet?

You're not the only one missing something... But then I'm always clueless.

Interview with Oakley tomorrow, on the email they say "Dress is casual so no need to wear a business suit, just be you! Jeans are totally fine and actually preferred here."

What the hell do i do.
