Anyone ever have a rear door window replaced?

Any ideas on price range to look for?

Rear passenger door window on DCSB got smashed in today in a parking lot. Stole my work laptop bag/laptop as well as personal backpack. Sucks. Broad daylight. Bags were stuffed down in floor section and not real obvious.

Anyway, I am going to look around tomorrow AM for a replacement. Any idea what the damage may be? Safelite online is quoting me $289 but they can't even replace it until next Tuesday. Going to see what else is out there....

BTW live in the East Bay (CA) in case any locals have any recommendations on shops.

I paid $450 for a good quality windshield. $300 for door glass seems a little much, but only by comparison.

I spent $150 on front door glass on a fullsize Chevrolet truck about 5 years ago.

I got a front window done for $140, should be able to find something cheaper than safelite.
