Dude, in my civilian job I work at a gun store. Your comment reminds me of 90% of the bros that come in to my store. My number one answer to guy when asking how to prevent that or to prevent their firearms from getting too dirt is, "Throw it in the safe, don't shoot it!"

OP your best option is not to drive your truck down Blm roads. If you are worried about scratches you should not even drive down those roads or drive it in general. My suggestion would be to get a quad to drive down those roads.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
When I bought my 2011 new, I had this same fear. But knowing I have 20 miles of gravel road to drive every day, I just sorta let it go. Not sure what color your rig is, but some scratches wont really even show if it's a light color like white or silver. My 2011 was silver and none of the pinstripes could be seen unless you were up close. When I wound up with my 2004, it already had a few scratches and chips to the paint so I just never worried about it. I'm not much help, I know, but I don't see many ways to keep it from happening other than not driving it on said stretch of road. Is it the only vehicle you have or do you have another you could take?

A good orbital buffer or a quality detailing shop would work as well.

I drive through thick alders all the time going to good bird covers and they always buff right out at the end of the season.....it's not like they're rigid and are pressing hard against the vehicle. Plus I keep it extra dirty during hunting season so the dirt acts as a nice first line of defense....LOL.

    :D
