Any idea why the blank switches have wiring harnesses run to them, and where the other end goes? I just popped them out today in the parking lot at work so I didn't have time to trace, and any idea what the red button is for? In my opinion it doesn't look factory at all.

The red one is not stock. Probably an aftermarket alarm or something.

The other ones are wiring for stock switches for options that are not on your truck. For example: rear diff lock, power inverter 110v., down hill assist.....

The wires are in place but the switches are not, and the wires do not connect to anything.

The red button is a Toyota security product. I bought a 2011 recently and found the user guide for it in the glove box. From what I understand it's just extra security. If someone tries to bust a window or break in the alarm will go off. Not sure how that's different from most vehicles-I assume all alarms go off when something like that happens? The red button can be used to turn off the horn sounds when you unlock and lock but I think the main purpose is for valet.

I'm not sure, from what I can gather from the original sale documents I think the dealership must have installed it. I'll try and remember to send a pic later.
