I'm going to be installing a set of Rigid spot lights on a set of cbi ditch mounts, and I couldn't figure out exactly where I wanted to mount the switches. I wanted something out of the way, but easily accessible. I also wanted to keep the ability to turn them on individually. I'm still working on it, but am pretty pleased with my progress so I thought I would start a thread.

Of course I started with a cardboard template.

Then traced it to some plexiglass and cut/bent it to shape.

Bunch of trimming, and a minor design change (going to keep the drawer for stability) and I started marking for my holes.

Sanded, primed and in the process of painting it.

I'm sure it will look like a hack job when I'm done, but it's mine!

So long as you like it and it is functional then call it a day. I tend to use that pocket pretty often so it wouldn't work for me.
