Looking at the Clarion NX404 and the 604. I'm reading different stuff about 2012 fitment. Crutchfield says the 604 fits but the 404 doesn't due to 1/2" more depth. I have standard JBL now. Anyone confirm fit for me? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply. So are you happy with your 604? Any issues? I'm not sure which radio is in my truck as far as Jbl or non JBL. It is Toyota part # a518b4. Which comes up as a Panasonic radio? Is that the one you have?
    Thanks

I have a sr5, not sure exactly what radio but it's BluetootH. No issues with the nx604 but I wish I would have waited for the 605. Both radios have igoogle. Basically you can say "I'm hungry for a hamburger" and it will find you a place nearby. The 605 is more advanced. I think you can speak text messages and emails. I also hooked my rear view camera into the head unit. This requires a seperate cable to connect into the head unit $20. I also integrated the Steering wheels controls.

I love it! Not problem at all, let's give it more time to see what happen. GPS is great, bluethoot connectivity really easy with my iPhone 5, displat is little but it works for me.

My state just passed a hands free law, so that's my excuse for looking at a new head unit. $400 for a unit with all that, and nav seems like a great deal.
I like that I'll be able to pull the Garmin off the windshield, and keep it a little less cluttered inside the cab as well.

    Appreciate for the feedback.

Yes, It's a Metra kit. Usually if you get the unit from Crutchfield they send you one for Free!!
