Tundra tail lights on Tacoma, wire adpaters

I'm long travel and have tundra bedsides with Tacoma lights (2001). I bought tundra tail lights to fit the bedsides but the wire connector or wiring harness, the part you plug into the tail light, doesn't match. Any suggestions?

 

best bet is to head to a junk yard and pick up a set of tail light harnesses from the same year tundra as the lights. your going to cut and solder the harness on to the tacoma. you will need to get the wires correct to make it work. a wiring diagram from both vehicles will help with that.

 

Any shop recommendations? This seems beyond my experience

 

Have you tried to plug the tacomas light sockets into the tundra housing? The bulbs are not the same size but the housings might fit. If not, just cut the sockets off each end and wire them onto the tacoma. If thats over your head, my buddy is in Ontario is Animal Auto - (909) 437-1480. Ask for Ryan.
